Lillian - Blog Post #7 - Pulling it together

As the team prepared for our challenge this week, a lot of loose art ends were tied off and we're headed in a good direction.  I felt good about how our Chef scene has been received overall, and how the art can help it be effective.  


I've had good progress this week in developing the atmosphere of the sewer.  Lighting and effects are really important in the vision I have for it, and finding a simple way to fake light with sprites turned out really well!  People have responded positively to the look of the game.  Looking ahead I'm going to add some variation, so the atmosphere can change in each area.

Now that we've had some time to contemplate the rough character animations, I think this week I'll iterate on them.  We want the feedback for the player to be as polished as possible.
